For some photographers, returning from a photo tour needing to process several hundred or even several thousand photos can be daunting. I can help. If you send me the photos on a hard drive, I'll go through them, pick the best ones and bring those to "proof quality". Please use the contact form to tell me what you have and request more specific information.

I can provide instruction in digital photography, including use of your camera and use of computer programs to “develop” and print your pictures. The cost for this service is $60/hour for an individual or a group of no more than six people at a location of your choice. The cost of rental of a facility, if any, will be in addition to the hourly charges. If the instruction location is more than an approximately two-hour drive from Denver, there may be a travel charge. I charge much less for members of local camera clubs.

I offer workshops on digital photography throughout the year. Typically, these workshops involve early morning landscape photography followed by classroom instruction on techniques for that day’s shoot and instruction on techniques for the next day’s shoot. These are hands-on sessions where you will gain the most if you have your laptop with you and the relevant software already installed before the workshop begins. See the “Workshops” section on this site for specific information.

I do farm and outdoor location shoots within a two-hour drive of Denver. Session fee is $100.00 for 1-3 hours of shooting. For longer sessions and for locations more than two hours from Denver, please contact me for a quote. After the shooting is complete, we will review the pictures that we took on my laptop computer with you. During this time, you may select any images that you would like to see in your private gallery. I will then post all pictures you’ve selected in a password-protected gallery where you may select them for prints or placement on merchandise such as coffee cups and mouse pads and complete your order online.

I do not have the expertise and equipment to photograph weddings or to make studio portraits. I'll be glad to design and set up your web site. Although I specialize in sites centered on photography, I can design almost any type of site. The cost depends on the complexity of your needs. My primary tool is RapidWeaver. Although it's a Mac-only program, the sites it produces are compliant with current standards, meaning that any operating system's browser will be able to view your site, presuming that the browser supports current standards. In addition to the themes supplied in RapidWeaver, I have purchased several more. Just ask for the list of themes I own.
